About the Course
The next time someone loses an item underwater, you can be the hero that finds the missing object.
In the PADI® Search and Recovery course, you’ll learn how to find lost objects underwater. You’ll practice different types of underwater search patterns and learn how to use a lift bag as you plan and execute mock search operations.
Course Layout
Finding items underwater is both challenging and rewarding. You need to know how to gather information, organize a search and choose an effective underwater search pattern. Your PADI Instructor will give you practice scenarios to build and hone your skills.
After completing eLearning modules we will apply what you learned during 4 dives scenarios across 2-days at Fantasy Lake Adventure Park.

Course Expected length:
- eLearning (2-4 hours)
- 4 dives at Fantasy Lake Adventure Park (2 days)
Prerequisites:
- Certified Advanced Open Water or Open Water + Underwater Navigation certification
- 12-years old
Needed Equipment:
- Students are required to have their own mask, snorkel, and fins
- Basic scuba gear such as regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), submersible pressure gauge (SPG), dive computer, and air cylinders can be rented. Contact us for more information.
