About the Course

Be the scuba diver everyone wants to follow because you know where you are and where you’re going. The PADI Underwater Navigator course fine-tunes your observation skills and teaches you to more accurately use your compass underwater. If you like challenges with big rewards, take this course and have fun finding your way.

Course Layout

It’s easy to get disoriented underwater if you don’t know how to use a compass or natural navigation clues. Learn how to easily find your way back to boat or shore without returning to the surface and avoid long, exhausting swims. After completing eLearning modules we will apply what you learned at Fantasy Lake Adventure Park (URL: Fantasy Lake Adventure Park (gofantasylake.com) with a series of practical exercise during 3-dives.

Learn How to

• Use a diving compass
• Navigate making multiple turns
• Estimate distance underwater

Course Expected length:

• eLearning (2-3 hours)
• 3 dives at Fantasy Lake Adventure Park (1 day)

Prerequisites:

• Certified Junior Open Water Diver or Open Water Diver
• 10-years old

Needed Equipment:

• Students are required to have their own mask, snorkel, and fins
• Basic scuba gear such as regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), submersible pressure gauge (SPG), dive computer, and air cylinders can be rented. Contact us for more information.
